Hosting

The site and the apps run on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (https://www.cloudflare.com). Stored data (databases, files, queues) is kept in the European Union.

brity’s role

brity is a platform: it lets salons and independent professionals present their services, manage their calendar and take bookings. The service itself is provided and billed by the salon or the professional, who sets her prices, cancellation terms and any deposit. brity is not a party to that contract and never holds the money paid for services.

Intellectual property

The brity brand, the site, the apps, their texts, design and code are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or reuse without written consent is prohibited, as is the systematic extraction of directory data (bots, scraping). The photos and texts of salons and professionals belong to them: they allow us to display them to present their business.

Reviews and reported content

Only a client whose appointment really took place (visit scanned at the salon) can leave a review, through a personal link. The salon moderates reviews and can answer them publicly; no review is ever made up. To report illegal content or an abusive review, write to hi@brity.app with the page, the content and the reason: we look into it and reply.

Liability

We do our best to keep the site and the apps accurate and available, but cannot guarantee they are free of errors or interruptions. A salon’s information (services, prices, opening hours, photos) is provided by the salon and under its responsibility. Links to other sites are given for convenience: we do not control their content. Figures presented as examples or simulations are not promises of earnings.

Applicable law and disputes

This notice and the use of the site are governed by Belgian law. If there is a dispute, contact us first: we look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts are: Tribunaux de l’arrondissement judiciaire du Brabant wallon (Nivelles), sauf règle impérative contraire (une consommatrice garde le tribunal de son domicile), without prejudice to the rules protecting consumers, who can also turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumerombudsman.be).
