Accessibility statement
brity wants everyone to be able to find a place, book, check their appointments and leave a review, whatever their disability. This statement says where we stand.
What this statement covers
The public pages of brity.app (directory, salon and professional pages, information pages) and the client app my.brity.app (booking, appointments, account).
The professional area and the salons’ administration are not covered by this statement.
Conformance status
brity partially conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Our goal is level AA on the client app and on the public pages.
This assessment is internal; it has not yet been confirmed by an external audit.
What is in place
- The information pages and the report forms are plain web pages: links and fields usable with a keyboard, labels tied to the fields, errors announced by screen readers.
- The automatic scrolling of reviews can be paused, and it stops if your device asks to reduce motion.
- The language of each page (French, Dutch or English) is declared, so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.
What is not yet
We have not yet drawn up the full list of gaps. Some parts may still cause problems, notably maps, some booking screens and content added by salons (photos, texts). We fix them as our assessments go on.
Report a barrier
Did you run into an accessibility barrier? Write to us with the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you used.
Write to us: hi@brity.app
We answer every message. When we cannot fix the problem right away, we suggest another way to book, for example by contacting the salon directly.
If our answer does not suit you
You can turn to the Belgian authority in charge of the accessibility of products and services: the FPS Economy (SPF Économie).
